MEMORIAL FOR BATTERED WOMEN MORTIFIED BY THE LEGAL ABUSE OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM AND ITS COURTS

Leta May Johnson- An 80-year-old woman who pleaded guilty to animal neglect Thursday was found dead later that night in her Hill Road home. The death was unattended but is thought to be from "natural causes," and was not suspicious in nature.

Johnson, spent nearly two years working with the DA's office and the Klamath County Humane Society regarding the health of her 200 sheep, 55 horses and cattle that she raised on her property.

As Johnson aged, she became unable to care for and feed the animals, which were found by authorities to be malnourished on several occasions. Some died.

On Thursday, Johnson agreed to court conditions that she own no animals for five years, except her two dogs. If she followed the rules, the conviction would not remain on her permanent record.

Leta studied horticulture and floriculture at Oregon State University. She left California in 1964 and came to Klamath County, Oregon, where Leta enjoyed growing a large annual vegetable garden. She also raised sheep, cattle, and horses. When her children were young, Leta was a gardening 4-H Club leader and helped her girls with their sheep and horse 4-H Clubs. She was active in the Ladies Community Lounge and a local garden club and taught Sunday school. Leta enjoyed oil painting and floral arranging, creating wreaths for church bazaars, and supporting all her children’s activities. She was also an avid seamstress, enjoyed daily Bible reading, and looked forward to all family reunions.

May Leta May Johnson rest in peace and may she have double the amount of animals in heaven. :)

Maybe at a time in your life you were once reticent. As your future changed, you found yourself a woman being used as a human battering instrument. Now, you can't seem to keep your anxiety under control without psychotropic medication. So, you find you are constantly having to defend yourself with endless words some people call, "dribble" going on and on with rampant and incessant rambling, mumbling and increased convoluted soliloquy.

I have just stumbled upon a cure that just may work. Barbara Streisand inspired me when she recently held a fundraiser for Obama. This event reminded me of her evening September 6th (2006) concert, One Voice: At her home, under the stars, having dinner, watching the sunset, sharing the music and sending the message for many critical issues at stake: Global warming, nuclear disarmament, warfare in the Middle East, and education for children. Jokingly, Barbara charged a certain sum for each musical note.

I stumbled upon my Anxiety Dialogue "Diet" during my last panic and anxiety attack while analyzing that the public does not consider a man mentally ill if he defaces his body. But, a woman is considered insane if she defaces and destroys her personal property so that a man won't carry away her personal belongings.

I would like to call my cure a diet. It may work better with men because, I find, men are more materialistic. Good and honest women are less inclined to obsess on materialized objects. You are welcome to plagarize my diet (because you'll do so anyway). =$.20

When you begin to have faith in the stock market, open yourself up a savings account. This account will be the "penalty" bank. For every word you mutter, charge yourself $.05. Some words may be a little more, some may be a little less. A laugh or giggle is not a word so there is no "penalty". The idea is that after a time, you will start to be more conscious of your "spiel" and conform back to your old reticent behavior.

Bribery, drug trafficking, migrant smuggling, and GOPedophiles at Homeland Security arrested for molesting children. Other recent South Florida cases... have involved officers and agents accepting payoffs for migrant smuggling, drug trafficking, witness tampering, embezzlement and rape.

Democrats are impeached (or threatened with impeachment) for illegal sex; Republicans are re-installed for their illegal sex, illegal wars, illegal wiretapping, torture, torching of the Constitution, destroying the environment, eradicating endangered species and tanking the economy.

In the course of a five-month inquiry, members of the AP National Investigative Team reviewed hundreds of scientific reports, analyzed federal drinking water databases, visited environmental study sites and treatment plants and interviewed more than 230 officials, academics and scientists. They also surveyed the nation's 50 largest cities and a dozen other major water providers, as well as smaller community water providers in all 50 states. They found a vast array of pharmaceuticals-including antibiotics, anti-convulsants, mood stabilizers and SEX HORMONES in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans.

This would explain and justify Oklahoma state representative Sally Kern's rant.

Why Are 20-Somethings Killing Each Other in Klamath Falls?

The youth of today may have some kind of inherent knowledge that there is not a future for them. It may have started when the world was less populated and Noah was creating his ark. It was then the towns people mocked him.

But, now the world is overpopulated and no one really counts anymore. If you don't believe me, just check out http://kinispolarbear.bravehost.com where this author has reached out for years to almost every government, private, and public agency and news media only to be discouraged by being ignored.

The 20-somethings have seen and realize that the working class professionals are striving in vain. They realize that no matter how much effort they put out, they are not going to amount to anything. Who would want to struggle all their life in blood, sweat, and tears only to get very little in return?

They seem to know that they won't be able to get anywhere and if they do, it will all be another fight to keep what very little they get.

Is it worth it to start out at McDonalds, going to college to learn a better trade, and being responsible in relationships while dealing with oppression from peers, neighbors, friends, and family?

Is it worth it to struggle up the "corporate ladder" while being aware that the competition gets away with cheating "to get ahead?"

Is it worth it to struggle while sacrificing everything only for life to stomp out their goals a little each time they fail?

Is it worth it to fight for your health when everyone around you drinks, takes drugs, and binges?

Is it worth it for both the mother and father to tirelessly work for a future only to have schools or a babysitter raise your child then if your child gets in trouble the parent is at fault?

Is it worth it to search for reasonable minds when the world is insane?

While the fool part of my DNA sees a vision with urges to keep going; seek out that promotion; become a professional, and earn that prestege", the 20-somethings' DNA beckons to cry out the truth, "no one cares!"

Dear Annie:

I have enlisted other syndicated writers for this one because no one in the U.S. has an answer.

I am writing to you at 2:00 a.m. because I was awoken by thumping against the wall. Turns out it was the young handsome couple next door. They were humping the walls. Usually, the girl has been quiet while they are "doing their thing." This time they were louder than ever. As I layed there listening to the young man pluck the girl, I was wondering why they had to make the whole building shake. Finally, I could hear her screaming to "take it easy" and to stop. Her cries got louder and louder. It sounded like he was ramming his penis right through her body. Usually when the girl gets plucked, it only lasts 10 minutes the most. But, this time it lasted an hour. By the time they were through using each other up, I was anxiety ridden. I've had everything in life except love, so it's extremely frustrating to boot.

The man below the young couples studio apartment asked me once if I heard noises coming from above his studio. He said it sounded like furniture being moved.

Because I am not exactly a famine looking woman and, no doubt, can be read as being a lesbian, the young woman tried to fix me up with one of her girlfriends. That was really sweet of them except they are way too young for me and am not interested in anyone younger than five years of myself.

I have never lived this close to people in my entire life and find it unbearable. An honorably retired Jew named Randy Bowman who was a sergeant from the city of Napa, prosecuted me with his lies. In one of his libels he wrote that I complained about something similar in Auburn, California. (Another county).

As a result of his Jewish lies, I was deemed a registered sex offender that resulted in a lot of financial, physical, and emotional damages. It continues today. It has even prevented me from marrying a decent person.

I don't want to complain to the manager because she would say what other managers say, "If you don't like it, move!" If I nicely approach the couple to ask them to move their bed on the other side, (the other studio is vacant) the girl might complain that I am stalking her or sexually harassing her and it would result in me going to prison. The couple are extremely good looking and the U.S. Government would believe them.

The other Jews, my estranged family, stole my $100k inheritance so I am unable to move. I am sick to my stomach because of the nervousness the U.S. caused me. They have kept it up at an alarmingly slow pace since 1995.

I had a place on a remote mountain where for the first time in my life I had peace but I was removed from there so that the U.S. Government could harass me, use me to sexually service their American men, and to control my destruction with drugs, cigarette smoking, and alcohol. Because I am fighting for my rights so that I don't have to spread my legs for their use, I am called antisemitic.

I thought I was a responsible pet owner. But, when my friend prompted me to have Manx kitty's. The $ came to mind. I could sell kitty's and have extra spending money for summer. My friend picked up my minature feline Panther and bred it to her cat. My cat ended up spewing regular domestics that I wouldn't have even been able to get a $1 for.

Luckily, she only had two kitty's. I was told to try and dump them at the local chapter of Kitty's For Us. Instead, I found myself standing in front of the local super markets trying to be a responsible pet owner. It actually turned out to be great therapy for me.

First I went to the upper-class snobbish grocery store. I reasoned that the people who frequented these kinds of stores had extra money to spend and my kitty's would find a good responsible pet owner.

I ran up to some people asking them if they wanted a free kitty. I met a lot of wretched couples; couples who had that look of discuss with me, the world, and themselves.

After a day of nothingness, I went home to rationalize some more. I would go to the cheap discount grocery store and hang out there.

Since I realized that people want what they cannot have, I used a theory to see how far it would go. The theory was successful. I layed back and let the people's curiosity carry them over to the cute little kitty's I had in the box.

One lady said she would take both my kitty's but that she just got rid of several in exchange for a puppy. One young man said he had just got a kitty but that it didn't get its shots. But, still he wanted another. I told him that he would have to get his mother and bring her over to talk to me. And, then he did. I convinced him that if he didn't even give shots to his first kitty, how would he be able to afford another? He said it was for his brother. I told him then that he would have to go get his brother.

One older man told me to hold on to his kitty; that he had to go into the store to buy some beer; and, for me not to give away his kitty. While I was standing there I began to wonder if he got drunk, would he step on the kitty? When the guy came out, he ranted about how his wife would kill him if he came home with a kitty. So, then I told him that maybe he had better go ask his wife. After all, I told him, she would be the one taking care of it while he wondered off getting in some other mischief. He said that was a good idea and went to ask his wife. Funny thing. I didn't think guys ever had to ask their wives for anything. He never came back.

Many people were friendly at the discount grocery store. And, actually, my jaws were beginning to hurt from smiling. One lady said her last kitty went out into the street and never came back. They were saying everything a responsible pet owner didn't want to hear. I told another interested lady that I didn't understand how pet owners adopt animals and then give them up. You're suppose to stay with them until the end. The interested lady who had five Chihuahua's continued to kiss and cuddle the kitty until she promised she would keep it until the end.

After a while, the younger man's brother came back. He was determined to adopt the last kitty. I tried vehemently to dissuade him. Then the truth came out. He wanted this kitty because he had tried to take his brother's kitty but his little brother objected. He stood there with his arms folded while I overloaded him with a thorough screening. Finally, I gave in and gave it to him. He promised me that he would not let me down and that he would take care of the kitty until the end. And, I believed him because I could tell that gay man's lisp as I've heard many times throughout my life from responsible, loving, pet owners.

Dear Dr. Therapist:

I am a social worker and a physician. I have worked as a case manager and counselor for over 20 years. I was working in the system and watched the process of de-institutionalization. I do understand about mental illness and have compassion. I am sure the girl my son married is bipolar and has a borderline personality disorder. Some of her bizarre behaviors included beating up furniture with a hammer when she could not have her own way, physically beating up my son so badly that he could not work, spending large sums of money in a few hours time, sleeping more than 18 hours at a time for many days in a row, and pitting people against each other by telling lies. She was totally unmotivated and never cooked or cleaned. Her family reached a breaking point and they could not handle the situation. This girl has been in foster homes and in juvenile detention. She has never held a job for more than two days. My son had never seen such behaviors and I am sure he was shocked. I am concerned my son will continue to be attracted to people with mental-health problems. Recently, I was reflecting with a colleague. She said that my former daughter-in-law was possessed by the devil. I believe that my son could use some therapy to help him understand the problems he faced in his marriage. The young lady needs to be evaluated before she does harm to herself or to others. I suggest calling the local hospital and ask for doctors or facilities to contact for more information. Her family should be involved. Is there anything you can suggest I can do to influence him to seek help?

This therapy, known as neurofeedback, is emerging as the hottest new twist on biofeedback. Though biofeedback was first developed by psychologists, its primary uses have been for illnesses below the neck. Standard biofeedback teaches you first to become conscious of normally unconscious functions such as pulse, digestion and body temperature, then teaches you to control them in response to sounds or other cues from monitoring devices. These techniques have allowed patients to lower their bloodpressure, banish their headaches and control theirincontinence without using drugs. Now new insights into the biology of mental illness havemade it possible to treat them in a similar fashion. Aerobics for the brain In neurofeedback (also known as neurotherapy), therapists attach electrodes to patients' unshaved scalps. Through these electrodes, a device measures electrical impulses in the brain, amplifies them and then records them. These impulses are divided into different types of brain waves. For example, in order to concentrate on a task, parts ofthe brain must produce more high-frequency beta waves. To relax, the brain must produce more low-frequency thetawaves. Using a program similar to a computer game (only without a joystick), people learn to control the video display by achieving the mental state that produces increases in thedesired brain wave. Some practitioners call it "aerobics for the brain." In epilepsy, where once only medications and surgery couldreduce seizures, neurofeedback is showing results. A German study published in the April 1999 journal Clinical Neurophysiology found that two-thirds of epilepsy patients could reduce their seizure rate by learning to control very low frequency brain waves in the cortex. "In people with epilepsy, part of the brain has become unstable, and occasionally it triggers the rest of the brainin to seizure," explains Siegfried Othmer, Ph.D., an Encino,California, physicist who trains biofeedback therapists." Neurofeedback may help stabilize those circuits and reduce the probability of seizures." New understanding: The use of neurofeedback for psychiatric problems dependson recent understanding about these diseases. In the 1960s, when biofeedback was developed as a therapy, schizophrenia and attention deficit were considered mainly the result of emotional trauma or poor upbringing. Consequently, biofeedback practitioners first focused on obviously physical problems. Now scientists understand betterthe electrical and chemical components of mental illness,creating opportunities for neurofeedback. Children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)use neurofeedback games to reduce theta waves and increasebeta waves, increasing their attentiveness. Joel Lubar, Ph.D., a psychologist at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, who originated neurofeedback treatment for ADHD in the 1970s, says neurofeedback can produce some of the same brain wave changes as drugs used to treat the disorder. In a 1998 study published in the December issue of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback, researchers in Ontario, Canada, taught ADHD patients biofeedback and learning strategies.They found a significant improvement in symptoms (such as impulsiveness and inattention) after 40 EEG biofeedbacksessions, as well as a change in the ratio of beta to theta waves. "Biofeedback can not only help a child use brain waves theydon't usually employ, but it may also help increase blood flow to specific parts of the brain involved with ADHD," says Lubar."Used with behavior therapies that incorporate classroom andhomework skills, neurofeedback can help these children becomeless dependent on stimulants like Ritalin. "More than 700 groups nationwide are using EEG biofeedback forADD/ADHD, according to the Association for Applied Psychotherapyand Biofeedback, an organization of biofeedback practitioners.The ADHD therapists have reported that patients experienced a60 to 80 percent significant improvement in symptoms and muchless need for medicine. Dr. J. Alan Cook, a psychiatrist in Mt. Vernon, Washington,uses it for 25 to 35 percent of his patients, treating suchproblems as depression, addiction, bipolar disorder and ADHD. "Once the training has been completed, patients seem to retain the benefits long term," he says. Crossing a new frontier in neurotherapy, researchers from London,England, reported in the December 1999 International Journal of Psychophysiology that a group of schizophrenic people had used neurofeedback to create some of the same electrical patterns that schizophrenia drugs produce in the brain. Though the investigators couldn't tell from this short experiment how the neurofeedback might affect the patients' symptoms, they considered it a successful first step toward developing a new treatment.
